From the picture it doesn't look bad at all! I also love the sound of the curtains/bed coming all together with it. What did it look like in person? Any better?
Hey girl! Love your blog! I tried to paint my room a dusty shade of pink a while ago and had the toughest time getting the shade to not match pepto bismol! It's a tough color to work with, especially because each shade is sensitive to the various lights you have--from natural morning light to the shade of your lightbulb. (I even replaced my lightbulbs to see if that was the problem!) I ended up saying "forget it!" and going with Restoration Hardware's silver sage. During the pink process, however, I saw the bedding in the following link put into a room with light pink walls and it was wonderful. Just a thought! http://www.potterybarn.com/design-studio/decorate/living_rooms_gallery.html#sui75b

ReplyDeleteit's pretty subtle... we're keeping it! especially because we're probably refinishing the walls down to the plaster in the next year
