hi! my name is emily dickinson. yes, really. but i'm not a poet. i'm an architect, which is a childhood dream come true. i spend my days designing and planning healthcare spaces, so i started this blog as a creative outlet for my personal projects at home.
i grew up in texas and am the third generation in my family to graduate proudly from texas a&m. i married my college sweetheart and, after a brief stint in denver, we moved to washington, dc. we saved and searched for a few years and bought a little 1929 row house in a northwest dc neighborhood. we are big fans of scandinavian and midcentury style, craigslist, and sweat equity.
